Loss of Connectivity to LAN from Wireless

Hi All,

I have the BiPAC 7800VDOX along with Sky Fibre Pro BB and it works great in that regard.

However on the LAN side of things not so much, after a few days of flawless operation wireless devices can no longer access shares on my NAS nor my server (both wired) also you cannot ping any wired device on the network (server, XBMC, NAS) all that can be pinged is the router itself.

If I reboot the router all starts to work again as expected, also if I connect the wireless device to a different wireless AP I have in my outdoor office I am able to ping everything and browse network shares.

The BiPAC 7800VDOX is currently running firmware 2.32c, I've seen the new release of firmware but couldn't see anything relating to this kind of issue.

Any thoughts most welcomed.

The first step when toruble shooting any issue, is to ensure you are on the latest firmware, I would advise you to upgrade the firmware and see if the issue still occurs

Also how is the different wireless AP connected to the network?? eg direct connection to the router

Not a direct connection, it goes through 2 Cisco gb switches (unmanaged).

So the Billion is connected to 1 of the Cisco's in the house and then the TP-Link AP is connected to the other Cisco in my office.

The 2 Cisco's are linked by a single fibre link.

I always try to keep the routers firmware up to date but as factory defaults have to set each time I spend the best part of 1-2hrs settings everything back up as I have numerous forwarded ports, DDNS etc.

Any chance one of your devices can be directly connected the Billion router and see if the same issue occurs with this device eg NAS and also test other devices connected via the switchs
