Hi,
I am due to be upgraded to fibre in a week and I can not seem to find any clear information about how I can connect my 7800dxl to fibre?
I assume once the engineer puts a new master socket on the wall I can connect it via a rj45 cable to Ewan port on my billion?
Any help or advice would be appreciated.

Thats correct, once you have plugged up your open reach modem to the EWAN port on the 7800DXL, just run through the quick start option and set the 'Main Port' to 'Ethernet' using the 'Type' as 'PPPOE' then enter your username and password in the sections provided

Thank you billion fan.
Do I still need a modem from the socket then connect the modem to the billion?
I was told by plusnet that I could connect straight from the master socket to my billion router?
