Hello

I'm trying to secure my network properly, and to avail of services inside my network from iPhone iPad etc...
I want to turn on the firewall to have medium security, I am then opening all of the ports i need for various services that I needaccess to.
I have a PPTP VPN configured to the 7402GX.

However, this is where it seem's to defy any logic.
i want to port forward the necessary ports for my son's playstation, which i do, however the device will not allow access until i turn the firewall off

Is there anyway to guarantee that the playstation will communicate, while ensuring firewall/security integrity?? i.e. firewall on while forwarding PS ports??

any help would be most appreciated

Can you post a screen capture of the rule you have setup within the packet filter rules, under firewall?
