7700N stops responding

My 7700N connected to Sky stops responding after being up for several weeks....
For example, now, my android phone cannot connect to it, I cannot load the web interface, or telnet to it....however, I do have one machine happily using the active connection wirelessly, and others connected wired - the one I'm typing this one. If I reboot it, it will work fine, but of course, the logs will be lost (I assume)
Throughput seems to be reduced when this happens, but I can't be 100% sure on that. Previous routers have been left on for months at a time, never needing a reboot.
