Lease Lost

I keep losing the lease on my connection. It seems to happen every one or two hours or so but seems to be getting more frequent. I have the lease time set at 24 hours. I also disabled IPv6 for a while as I suspected this was the cause but it isn't. The router is connected to a satellite internet modem via the EWAN port and I'm not 100% sure that it's the router and not the modem that's at fault. The router is running firmware 2.32d and this problem started about a month ago.

Here's the text from the log when the problem occurs:-

Sep 5 17:13:11 daemon crit kernel: eth2 (switch port: 2) Link UP 100 mbps full duplex
Sep 5 17:13:11 daemon info kernel: br0: topology change detected, propagating
Sep 5 17:13:11 daemon info kernel: br0: bridge group port 2(eth2) entering forwarding state
Sep 5 17:13:43 daemon err syslog: dhcpd:sending OFFER of 192.168.1.9
Sep 5 17:13:43 daemon err syslog: dhcpd:sending ACK to 192.168.1.9
Sep 5 18:11:46 daemon err syslog: dhcpc:Lease lost, entering init state
Sep 5 18:16:51 daemon err syslog: dhcpc:Lease of 10.100.1.106 obtained, lease time 10494
Sep 5 18:16:55 daemon warn kernel: ^[[0;36;44mBroadcom Packet Flow Cache flushing the flows^[[0m

Not very helpful, is it? As you can see, the connection re-establishes itself after a few minutes. I recently did a factory reset on the router and reloaded a saved configuration file. This had no effect.

Any suggestions much appreciated.

Edit to add more info. Should have mentioned this is a 7800DXL. Further log entries:-

I'm going to add one more log in the hope that someone on here can help! Note how I'm losing the lease at exactly 3 hour intervals (to within a few seconds) at 1030, 1330 and 1630, but the loss is very brief...only for a couple of seconds or so. Something is definitely not right.

I just tested the 7800DXL with a EWAN connection to a 8800NL and the DCHP lease updated without any issue (I set the DHCP lease on the 8800NL to 1 hour = 3600 seconds)

Sep 8 10:02:45 daemon err syslog: dhcpc:Lease of 192.168.1.101 obtained, lease time 3600

Sep 8 10:26:14 daemon crit kernel: eth1 (switch port: 3) Link UP 1000 mbps full duplex
Sep 8 10:26:14 daemon info kernel: br0: bridge group port 2(eth1) entering forwarding state
Sep 8 10:26:15 daemon err syslog: dhcpd:sending ACK to 192.168.2.100
Sep 8 10:32:45 daemon err syslog: dhcpc:Lease of 192.168.1.101 obtained, lease time 3600
Sep 8 11:02:45 daemon err syslog: dhcpc:Lease of 192.168.1.101 obtained, lease time 3600

So you might want to check the lease time on your a satellite internet modem/router
