8800nl with Talktalk

Please can you help I'm a bit new to all this.
I am with Talktalk and am awaiting an 8800nl. I do not have fibre. Tc access the Talktalk router 192.168.1.1 is used. For the 8800nl 192.168.1.254. Should I change and how the 8800nl to 192.168.1.1. Are there any special settings apart from the user name and password that I should set up in the 8800nl for optimum use with Talktalk.

You can change the IP address of the router to 192.168.1.1 this should make things easier to remember
You can also try tweaking the SNR once the device is installed.

Login into the router and click on 'Configuration >> LAN' you should see the IP address on the right hand side
