Ok so I am new, please take it easy on me. I purchased a Billion 8800NL to replace a OR modem and BT HH3.
I setup the pppoe connection ok (should I also delete the default pppoa connection).
When I perform a SpeedTest my download is ~3M lower than it was when running with the OR modem and BT HH3.
I also notice that the xDSL is reporting OH Frame Errors and OCD Errors along with HEC Errors (however I understand that HEC Error are normal).
How many OH Frame Errors and OCD Errors would be typical over 10 hours of very light (idle) usage.
Many Thanks

Yes you can delete the PPPOA interface if you are using a fibre connectionslostuk wrote:Ok so I am new, please take it easy on me. I purchased a Billion 8800NL to replace a OR modem and BT HH3.

What firmware version are you running??
Regarding the OH Frame Errors and OCD Errors it is best to check with the ISP, if the number of errors are expectable for your line
Was the speed test run with a wired connection or a wireless connection??
