When the issue occurs, are you able to access the routers configuration from the wireless device?nitrams69 wrote:Hi when i watch a internet channel on my youview box the wifi stops working have looked in settings

Have you tried to change the Bandwidth over to 20mhz, and also if needed change the channel to either 1, 6 , 11??

Hi changed channel no difference, but i should have pointed out the youview box is connected to router by cat cable.
I continue to be able to watch the internet channel but the wifi stops working, sorry i didn't make that clear.

When the issue occurs, check the connectivity to the router off your wireless device that is having issues browsing the internet, by trying to login to the router web configuration page on http://192.168.1.254.nitrams69 wrote:Hi changed channel no difference, but i should have pointed out the youview box is connected to router by cat cable.

Also are other wireless devices having the same issue when the issue occurs on your wireless device?

Ok so its just the wireless that is effected, have you changed the Bandwidth to 20mhz to see if that helps?nitrams69 wrote:Wired ok
Also is the youview box on a static IP?? If so try setting it to DHCP.

Re: wifi blocked
Spent a bit of time over last 2 weeks changed all sorts of settings.
Just ticked this box Wireless Multicast Forwarding (WMF) and all wifi devices are connecting now and internet channels are still playing on youview.
Will ticking this cause other issues?
Will see how it goes over next week or so and let you know if its cracked it.
