Information request

I posted earlier about settings for BT TV, which involves creating a second WAN connection as a 'bridge'.
Can somebody explain to me how it is possible to have two WAN connections, one NAT'd, and the other not?
It seems to disobey all I have learned about network routing!

Try looking at the one to one NAT section. (so you can map a internal IP to a external IP within your external WAN IP range)
