Hello,

I am trying to tweak my snr to a value of 3db with no luck.

Ive got it down from 9 to 6 by inputting 3 into the snr config page but now I need to know what number to type in for an snr of 3 db

I tried inputting 50 as I read somewhere that works with most broadcom chipsets but it didn't work for me.

Could someone please help with this.

Thanks,
Ste

A value of 1 will give you a reduction of -5dB. So if your SNR is normally 9 that will result in a SNR of 4dB.
The SNR table doesn't have a value to reduce SNR by 6 although a value of 4096 will reduce SNR by -6.5dB.
If you get anything working at a SNR of 2.5dB I'll be very surprised unless you live next door to the exchange!
