Hi
Hope it's okay to still add comments/questions as this is related somewhow, if not please delete.
I want to use my 8800nl as access point only where the primary router is a Talktalk Hub and I need the 8800nl with a different SSID.
Would that still work using the same procedure explained here or do I need to do it in a different way whether still possible?
Thanks

You might run into known WDS compatibility issues as the Talktalk router is probably using a different wireless chipset. (it just won't pair)

Hence this guide for 2 x 8800NL which are using the same wireless chipset.

The only other way is to use a Ethernet cable from the talktalk router to the 8800NL (any ports) and then turn off the DHCP server on the 8800NL and sett the SSID, (the talktalk router will be the primary router)
