IP remote not working - 8800AXL

Hi,

I can't seem to control anything using the IP or network apps on my android phone.

My yamaha amp or my hdi dune player does not pickup the IP at all even though they are connected with a valid IP address.

I also cannot get my kodi player to talk to my media box on the network.

Is there an option I need to enable for this to work, I am using wireless AC on 5ghz.

Have you tried to enable 'Wireless Multicast Forwarding (WMF)' as shown on the attached screen shot

Hi billion fan,

That option is already enabled on both 2.4ghz and 5ghz but still nothing, I also found that I could not connect the my vu+ duo box using xbmc jus will not have it.

Any other options?

Has there been any update on the new firmware?

2.32d.dm12 is the latest version I have, can you give me a example of what type of apps are failing, (something I can attempt to replicate here with a windows machine and android phone)

Hi,

I have a yamaha receiver that does not work and also my hdi dune player anything with it control. You can try xbmc on Windows then use Android phone to control it.

Where do I download that firmware from and would it work on the 8800axl.

I tried to download kodi from their website but it kept timing out. (page cannot be displayed)

So I just ran a test with remotemouse, on a windows 7 machine with my android phone, and it worked.

I tested the win 7 machine connected via wired and wireless (each band tested) and everything worked see attached screen shots

Hi,

Mine still does not work, it comes up with samsung phone and apple but that's it nothing else. It's getting really annoying.

I can't even ping IP that I know work using my phone, 2x tablets and iPhone.

What settings do you have for multicast option under advance config?

Any chance you can put up your options selected for wireless?

Also to point out I also have wireless n devolo homeplug which picks up all the wireless kit and can ping them using the fing app on Android etc.

I was using the default settings, I only changed the default wifi security keys for both bands

Have you tried powering down all devices on the network, it seems to helped ' tcmoore ' on the following thread viewtopic.php?f=19&t=3542
