Remembered why I love my Billion router!!!

I'm part of the Amazon UK Vine programme, and get stuff to review. Last week I got Linksys(Belkin) latest offering EA6350, and whilst it's wireless is really quick compared to my 7800DXL (about twice the speed), it's needed power cycling twice in the last week. It's total crap from a stability point of view. It's going in the loft as a backup and the Billion is betting re-installed, which has rock solid stability.

Just wanted to mention this, as it's easy to get a swayed opinion by reading support forums that attract problem posts.

Linksys has gone in the loft as a backup router, it really is a pile of junk. Today I tried to set it to use OpenDNS, and it turns out due to buggy firmware, that's something that doesn't work correctly on any of their "Smart" routers.

Back to permanently running the slower, but rock solid 7800DXL. The grass is rarely greener.
