Slow internet when transferring files locally

Hi,

My internet connection is getting very very very slow when I'm transferring data in my local network (LAN).

If I transfert files from my Mac to my NAS (cable connection), then it seems like the router isn't able to cope with the data and therefore any connection to the Internet using either the WiFi 2GHz or 5GHz will fail or be very slow.

Is there anything wrong with the router ??

Thanks

Have you got a any QOS rules setups on the device??

Have you tried the attached firmware (assuming you have a 7800DXL, don't forget to reset back to factory default settings once the firmware has been upgraded, and then manually re-configure the device again, so ensure all changes within the firmware are implemented correctly)

Thanks for the speedy response @billion_fan

I do have a 7800DXL and I'm on the latest firmware: 2.32d.dh2
However, I'm not sure to have switch back to the factory reset (that's quite a pain ...)

As for QoS, nothing set.

Some users have upgraded and not reset back to factory default settings and have been fine, in anycase if have issues you can always revert back to firmware 2.32d.dh2 (available from our website)
