Hi all
I purchased a 8800nl off a well known auction site after my 7800n dieing after many years use on my long adsl line.
I am getting alot of errors on the line with the 8800 and was going to try other firmwares after reading through the forums.
Everytime i try to upload a different firmware im greeted with 'illegal image'.
I did notice after factory reset that the ppoa login is cswbroadband using a 2.32 dt5 firmware.
Is there anyway around being able to flash a different firmware or or is this unit locked?
By reading through the site alot of users had much better error rates on the older dm2 firmware, any other suggestions would be most welcome.
Thanks alot
