Hi all,
Sorry for the question but I am quite new with Networking. I am trying to run a second router with my Billion 7800VDPX to eventually have a VPN running through the NetgearWNDR3800 Router. I have successfully installed dd-wrt on the Netgear and connect a LAN cable into the ewan port on the billion to the yellow port on the netgear and the netgear router shows the internet icon as being green however I cannot get any internet connection.
I tried putting the billion into Bridge mode but got no internet connection whatsoever. If anyone can lend a hand on what I need to check or may be doing wrong, it will be greatly appreciated.
Cheers

Can't really comment as the 7800VDPX is not a UK model that we support (I don't have one here)kaneelias wrote:Hi all,

Normally once in 'Bridge' mode, you have to configure the connected router for PPPOE >> Ethernet connection so it can authenticate with your ISP (the dial in method for you ISP might not be PPPOE, within the UK this is the standard when using 'Bridge' mode)
