http://192.168.1.254/ times out

Figured I'd give this firmware upgrade business a go but I cannot seem to get to my router's admin address at all. I just get a message saying it's timed out. I have tried on my Sony Vaio W10, my v old windows laptop on W7 and on my ipad. Had the same result evry time. Help please?

Try rebooting the router

Aha. Found a YouTube that introduced me to run/cmd/ipconfig & discovered my default gateway is 192.168.0.254 and got straight to the router sign in :D
