So even if I enter the right passphrase the system says its incorrect - yet on iPad works just fine.
Anything in settings I can toy with in wifi security settings to get this working more reliably?
I have bipac 7800 upstairs running as standalone access point mode and seems to work just fine by comparison.
Really odd.
iPhone not connecting to 2.4Ghz only now (5Ghz works fine)

Re: iPhone not connecting to 2.4 or 5ghz
Try changing the SSID and see if you can re-connect. (security should be the standard WPA2 PSK AESstevebez wrote: ↑Mon Feb 13, 2023 11:42 pm So even if I enter the right passphrase the system says its incorrect - yet on iPad works just fine.

Re: iPhone not connecting to 2.4 or 5ghz
Try as I may I keep getting Incorrect password for "Chartside"
Nothing connects to this ... Imac, Ipad or Iphone
Its almost like the passcode has got corrupt somehow

Re: iPhone not connecting to 2.4 or 5ghz
Ive reinstalled firmware and rebooted to factory settings
Ive unfortunately updated settings with saved settings before I could test the factory wifi config for 2.4ghz.
But I am back to where I was before
Firm ware is d46

Changed firmware to d48 - no difference.
Turned off wifi security - devices still can not connect to the network.

Try changing the SSID to one that has not been used before (attached is a guide on how to do that) maybe try Chartside1
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

I also assume you don't have mac filtering enabled for the 2.4ghz band?billion_fan wrote: ↑Wed Feb 15, 2023 9:04 amTry changing the SSID to one that has not been used before (attached is a guide on how to do that) maybe try Chartside1

Re: iPhone not connecting to 2.4 or 5ghz
This is still not working sadly on the 2.4 Ghz band ... if I turn off encryption it connects fine but when encryption is on my iOS devices wont connect and keeps saying incorrect passphrase...
Any thoughts on encryption settings?
