Hi
Can the USB port be used for storage and as a "print server" on models that offer this, such as the 7402NX?
I'm happy that it can be used as a 3G backup in case of loss of service, or indeed as a primary source!
Thanks.

Re: USB port on router (such as 7402NX)
On the 7402NX the USB port is only for a backup 3G connection.
If you want a model that has USB ports on the back, you might think of the Bipac 6200NXL, which you can hook up a USB hard drive or supported printers (have be on the supported by the firmware)
BUT REMEMBER THE BIPAC 6200NXL IS NOT A MODEM, JUST A ROUTER.
Bipac 6200NXL USB Specs -:
USB Applications Server
• 3.5G / 3.75G network sharing
• Printer server
• Storage: FTP server, Samba server, FTP client*6, BT client*6
• Webcam server
