Set EWAN port speed

Hi All
I have a 7800VDOX with fw 2.32e. Does anyone know how to set the speed and duplex of the EWAN port once you've configured it as a WAN interface? It disappears from the GUI Eth Control section once you do that, and I can't see anything via telnet commands. We've been told by our carrier to force 1Gb full duplex to achieve max fiber speed. Not sure that is correct but have to follow their suggestions. Didn't want to delete the WAN interface and have to recreate.
Cheers Peter

This is because the port is now changed to a WAN port, this will auto negotiate with the modem/ connecting device.

If the LED for port 4 (EWAN) is lit green this means its a gigalan connection, if its amber that means 100mbps.

If I remember correctly there is no way to set this port to 1000mbps via telnet either.

Hi There
Thank you for the reply. I did manage to finally configure the port. You need to go into busybox via the shell and use ethctl. It allows you to set only 10 or 100 and duplex. Everything else is auto. We had to set 100 full to hook into the Telstra NBN. In addition I had to to set the bandwidth limit for upload and download as a speed test overloaded the Telstra NBN box and it dropped packets...why only god and Telstra know. Anyway with those in place it is all working well.
Cheers
