Hi again it's me ok has any noticed that plugging or unplugging enthernet cables whether they are attached to something or not drops or raises the noise margin ? this is happening to me but it doesn't change the adsl speed cheers

I've found the same here, weirdly, and the other end of this particular ethernet cable goes nowhere. As it gives me another few dB of margin I just leave it plugged in. Very weird!
