Hello all, first post.
As a long-time Draytek user I recently bought a 7800DXL in readiness for a FTTC upgrade next week. Whilst setting the router up (which I have to say was a major PITA, the web interface is so unstable) I forwarded port 80 to my NAS. In response to this a message popped up saying that the router's remote management port has now been moved to 8080. My question is this; is there anyway to change this to a port of my choosing or am I stuck with using 8080 for managing the router whilst out and about?
With my last router there was the option to set whatever port I wanted (a Vigor 2710n).
Thanks in advance.

Re: Remote management port
Try setting up a rule as shown in the attached screen shot within the virtual server section
For this example the 7800DXL web management port should change to 5800, tested off a external connection
Finally don't forget to enable remote access

Re: Remote management port
Hi,
I have the 7800VDOX and need to change the remote management port from the default of port 80 and there is not option anywhere that I can see to change this.
There was an option to do this on my previous router the 7800N.
Would appreciate support how to change this, without having to wait for a new firmware?
Many Thanks
Neville

Re: Remote management port
It most likely worked in previous firmware, in 2.32c I can not make it happen
Still can not understand what Remote Access entry is supposed to be or do
sebus
edit
Enabling remote access seems to make remote management listen on WAN IP port 80
Had to tick/untick Valid for the range few times before it started filtering inputted addresses correctly (allow as opposed to block)

Re: Remote management port
New firmware 2.32d will allow you to change the HTTP port so the screen shot I posted will not be needed (UK firmware already released on the this link viewtopic.php?f=18&t=2409)ITSNev wrote:Hi,
