From the log it is unable to read your boot sector. As the hard drive is too big refer to this log "Too big for this kernel. Use a kernel compiled with support for large block devices"
Have you tried the beta firmware?? Link below

Re: USB external drive
Hi, I'm posting here, because I've a problem related to the external drive feature of the 7800dxl.
I connected a 250gb hard drive (with two partitions, ntfs and fat32), the storage device info in the router admin page shows properly both of the partitions, but it's not so clear how I'm supposed to access to the disk from a device connected to the network, in order to create a NAS, using the disk to share contents with all the devices!
I've looked for external hard drives both from a windows pc that from a Mac and there's no trace of the shared disk...
Any help?
(I attach the screenshot of the USB setting from the admin configuration page)

Re: USB external drive
Attached is the UK quick start guide, on page 29 you can find how you can access your HD, once you access it you can map the hard drive for ease of access.marko988 wrote:Hi, I'm posting here, because I've a problem related to the external drive feature of the 7800dxl.
