When I try to access the Status>WAN I consistently get "The connection was reset"

Everything else seems to be working fine.

I am on version 2.32.e

Any ideas?

Are you running router stats or a similar program if you are, you have to disable router stats first, then you can browse the web gui

I do sometimes use DSLSTATS but it is not running now.

I just tried again and, using Firefox, got the same "The connection was reset" -

On the off chance, and in case it was browser related, I also just tried with IE and got "This page can’t be displayed"

Try rebooting the router, its a strange one I haven't seen before (only the xDSL page failing to load, assuming other pages are fine??)

If I reboot the router, will that affect my synch speed? I'm on Infinity 2

It shouldn't as long as the connection has been stable and up for around a week (DLM only kicks in when there are multiple drops etc)

Another thing to try is trying logging via your phone, to see if the same issue occurs.

The reboot cured the problem. Thanks

By the way, is there any kind of 'softer' or 'lesser' reboot that does not affect the ADSL/VDSL line?

Not if you can't access the router, depending on your needs, you can drop the PPP connection and the line will stay in sycn

Status >> WAN, click on the 'Disconnect' button this will drop the PPP connection only
