As I have started using my printer a lot recently, an old issue that I remember just after i got my 7800DXL
has become more of an issue now which was that:
1) During the day the printer would make its usual ping sound when connecting to the wifi if i was around to hear it.
2) Sometimes even if the printer WIFI LED is lit, i still cannot see the printer. (possibly after the ping sound happen at some point???)
On my old 7800N i never had any issues. There seems to be a compatibility issue.
On way to get it out of a dead state is to disable the 2.4ghz on the 7800DXL then re-enable it. Rebooting the printer doesn't always help...
I have tried the usual OBSS Coexistence, Power management settings, and a changing wifi channels etc.

How long does it take for the issue to occur?? eg how long is the printer connected to the network, before the issue occurs??
What firmware version are you on?

Re: HP C310A Printer Connection Issues
Hi, I am on the latest firmware. ( 2.31.RC4.3 )
The printer can drop out at anytime of the day, does not seem to be a pattern.
But when it does happen it needs intervention, i have even seen the device on the MAC list under wireless stations.

Once I get time I will setup our HP 6510 and see if I can replicate your issue (hopefully tomorrow)swatboy79 wrote:Hi, I am on the latest firmware. ( 2.31.RC4.3 )
